ACE is a self-study CME program that covers established knowledge in the field of anesthesiology, including subspecialty content tailored to the generalist. With the ACE program you can assess your current anesthesiology knowledge and identify areas for improvement.
Credits earned through ACE can
be used to help fulfill the CME requirements for the Part 2 Lifelong Learning and
Self-Assessment component of the American Board of Anesthesiology’s Maintenance
of Certification in Anesthesiology (MOCA®) program.
The ACE program is available as a print booklet or in electronic format. The purchase of the electronic format now includes a complimentary iPad® app. An annual subscription consists of two issues, one each in April and October.
Each issue presents 100 questions with answers, detailed discussions explaining the rationale for each answer
and references for further study. Subscribers complete the program at their own pace and submit the answers to
receive CME credit. All formats require Internet access to submit your answers and receive CME credit.
Booklet
A printed version of the questions and discussions is mailed to you. Answers are submitted online and your CME credit certificate is automatically generated and can be printed instantly. Beginning with the 2013 edition, select images will appear in color.
Web (Online)
Upon receipt of your paid subscription, you'll have instant access to the online ACE program. View the questions and discussions wherever you have Internet access, submit your answers, and generate and print your CME credit certificate—all online.
iPad App: Access to an iPad app is now included in your subscription to the Web-based version of ACE. Once you've downloaded the app and logged in, you can access ACE content on the go—without the need for further Internet access until you are ready to claim CME credit. When an Internet connection is available, syncing is enabled between the Web and iPad app versions. The iPad app provides the same features as the Web version to help you customize your learning experience:
